NorthBoundPaper is a one-person studio based in the Netherlands, reachable at info@northboundpaper.com. We collect as little personal data as possible. This page explains what we do collect, why, and what your rights are under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

Newsletter email address. If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address through an embedded form provided by EmailOctopus, our email service provider. Your address is stored in EmailOctopus's systems and is used only to send you the newsletter and to deliver the free printable you signed up for. We never sell or share your address, and every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes you from the list.

Email you send us. If you contact us at info@northboundpaper.com, we keep your message for as long as needed to help you, then it lives in our mailbox like any normal correspondence.

Nothing else. This site has no accounts, no comment forms, and no checkout — purchases happen on the platforms we sell through (such as Etsy), which have their own privacy policies.

Hosting and analytics

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of serving and securing the site. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool that does not track you across sites and does not use any client-side state such as cookies or localStorage to collect information.

Cookies

We don't set tracking cookies. The newsletter form and analytics described above work without them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it erased. For the newsletter, the fastest route is the unsubscribe link in any email; for anything else, write to info@northboundpaper.com and we'll sort it out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with an updated date.
